Adventures with Nature
Take a walk on the beach or climb a mountain with a San Luis Obispo Coast District State Parks Docent who can explain the history of the area you are traversing. Walks of various lengths, difficulty and areas are scheduled each month. Find one you like and join in the fun. Perhaps you would prefer to attend a talk about the stars, the Chumash Indians, rainbows or some of nature's fascinating creatures that inhabit the Central Coast of California.
A winning prize for your cooperation with our custom research paper service is A+ for your paper!

School Program
It's an estuarine experience - students hike up a volcanic plug, trek to a bird rookery, explore mudflats, see up-close demonstrations and participate in a session of hands-on activities. The new state science standards for grades 3 to 7 are reflected under the direction of trained docents. Click here to find out more and to request a reservation.
